Bankers BPO is a back-office services company for lenders and loan brokers. We process loan files, verify identity and income documents and prepare reports for banks, non-bank lenders and brokers. The calculators on this site started as the spreadsheets our own staff used to check figures in loan estimates, and we published them because borrowers kept asking for them.
Who writes and maintains the tools
The tools and guides are written and maintained by the Bankers BPO team. We do not name individual authors. The people involved work on loan processing every day and have seen the same questions from thousands of applicants: why the payment differs from the lender’s quote, why the approved amount came in lower than expected, whether to pay extra or invest.
How we keep the tools accurate
Every calculator states its formula on the page. We check each one against a lender’s own figures (a payment from a loan estimate, a CD maturity from a bank statement, a sales tax line from a real receipt) before it goes live, and again whenever a rule changes, such as a new IRS contribution limit. Guides are written after the tool, and every worked example in a guide is run through the tool it describes.
The validators (routing number, EIN, and the IBAN and tax-ID checks on the other-language sites) check format and check digits only. They tell you whether a number could be valid, not whether it is registered. We say so on each page.
What the site is not
The tools give estimates. We are not a bank, a lender, a registered investment adviser or a tax preparer, and nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice. Your lender’s figures, which account for its own rate, fees and underwriting, are the ones that count.
Other languages
The site is also published in Indian English and in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic and Italian, each adapted for India, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, the UAE and Italy: local currency, tax rates and ID formats. Guides are published in US English only.
