Features

Runs in your browser

The math happens on your device. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored, and no tool on the US site calls a server.

Built around US lending

Debt-to-income limits, APR versus add-on rates, recasts, refinance break-even and APY compounding are already in the tools.

Results as you type

Move a slider and the payment, schedule or maturity value updates at once, with a table you can download as CSV.

Eight languages, local rules

The Indian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic and Italian versions use their own currency, tax rates and ID formats.

Why use Bankers BPO tools

Made by people who process loan files

Bankers BPO handles loan documentation and verification for lenders and brokers. The calculators use the same formulas that appear in loan estimates and closing disclosures.

The formula is on the page

Each tool states how it gets its answer, so you can check a lender’s figure instead of taking it on trust.

Guides behind every tool

Two guides per tool explain the math with worked examples and walk through the decision the tool is meant to help with.

How to use a tool

  1. Pick a tool. Use the search box above or the category chips to find the calculator you need.
  2. Enter your numbers. Drag the sliders or type the amount, rate and term from your loan estimate or bank statement.
  3. Read the result. The headline figure comes first, then the breakdown, the split bar and any notes on taxes or fees.
  4. Keep it. Download the schedule as CSV, copy the figures, or open the guide linked under the tool for the full explanation.

FAQs

Are the calculators free to use?

Yes. Every tool on this site is free, with no account, download or limit on how often you use it. Bankers BPO earns its revenue from back-office services to lenders, so the tools stay free and carry no ads.

Is my data stored when I use a tool?

No. The calculators run in your browser and nothing you type is sent to our server. The contact form is separate and only emails us what you write in it. The theme setting is kept in your browser’s local storage, which is not a cookie.

How is the monthly loan payment calculated?

With the standard amortizing formula: M = P × r × (1 + r)^n ÷ ((1 + r)^n − 1), where r is the annual rate divided by 1,200 and n is the number of months. The loan payment calculator shows the total interest and the split, and how a loan payment is calculated works through an example.

Why is my lender’s “how much can I borrow” figure different?

The how much can I borrow calculator applies a debt-to-income limit to your gross income. Lenders also apply their own rate, a loan-to-value cap, credit score tiers and reserve requirements, and they count debts from your credit report rather than what you list. Treat the result as a starting estimate and read what is debt-to-income ratio for what else counts.

Should I shorten the term or lower the payment when I make an extra payment?

Shortening the term saves more interest because the same payment keeps paying down principal faster. Lowering the payment, which a servicer does through a recast, frees cash each month. The extra payment calculator shows both on your numbers, and the guide on shorten the term or lower the payment explains when each one fits.

Are CD, savings and retirement results before or after tax?

Before tax. CD and savings interest is taxed as ordinary income in the year it is credited. Growth in a traditional 401(k) or IRA is taxed on withdrawal, and in a Roth it is not taxed at all if the rules are met. The results also assume the rate stays the same for the whole term, which is true for a CD but not for a savings account or an investment.

What is the difference between an add-on rate and APR?

An add-on rate charges interest on the original loan amount for the whole term; APR is the rate on what you still owe, which is how federal law requires loans to be disclosed. An add-on quote therefore costs much more than the same number quoted as APR. The add-on rate to APR converter turns one into the other.

Do the tools work in other countries?

The English site at this address is built for the United States. The Indian English version, and the Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic and Italian versions reachable from the language menu, use the rupee, euro or dirham, that country’s VAT or GST rates, IBAN or IFSC validation and the national tax-ID formats. The guides are in US English only.
